Danelle Estherhuizen

Hi, I'm Danelle, mom of 3 boys and the “mom” of this team. As a pastor's wife, I love helping people get unstuck and building up leaders. I’m passionate about cooking, marriage, and family, and I also have a fun side interest in digital transformation!

George Louwrens

Hi, I’m George! I love being outdoors, staying active, and spending time with my wife, 3 daughters, and friends. People and coffee are two of my favorite things, so you could say I was made for ministry!

Pieter du Plessis

Hi Family. I am taking care of all logistics around Shofar. It is my privilege to serve as one of the Elders in Shofar, and one of the Family Ministry leaders. As a family we love the outdoors, always busy running or cycling or doing something adventurous.

Agne du Plessis

Hi, I’m Agne! I manage the church office and lead in the Family District, making sure everything runs smoothly. I’m passionate about life, family, and helping others grow. Whether it’s sports, adventure, or trying something new, I’m always up for the next exciting challenge!

Lucretia Block

Hi, I’m Lucretia! I proudly serve our church on the admin side and have a big passion for deliverance and healing ministry. I love spending quality time with my husband and kids, doing fun activities that keep me energized and inspired. It’s all about family and faith for me!

Jason George

Hi, I’m Jason! I lead the worship team and oversee communications, volunteers, and tech at Shofar Christian Church in Stellenbosch. I’m passionate about blending creativity, music, and technology to help our community grow. Outside of church, I enjoy good coffee, music, and spending time with loved ones!

Celise Norman

Hi, I’m Celise! I lead the Student Ministry and love hanging out with family and friends. I enjoy running, board games, and traveling whenever I can. My guilty pleasure? Ice cream—because it’s never too cold for a scoop (or two)!

Christopher Hyslop

Hi! I’m Chris, and I proudly lead the Student Ministry. When I’m not working, you’ll find me with the worship team, surfing, playing hockey, or involved in small groups. It’s been an amazing journey serving alongside this church family, and I’m excited for what’s ahead!

Coady Naidoo

Hi, I’m Coady! I serve as the Youth Ministry Leader in this amazing church family. I’m passionate about helping teenagers grow in their love for Jesus. When I’m not leading youth activities, you’ll find me enjoying sports, trying new foods, or playing board games with friends!

Busisiwe Magidigidi

Hi, I’m Busi! I serve as the Financial Administrator at Shofar Stellenbosch and lead Worship and Xhosa Service at Shofar Asanda. I’m married to Sandile, and we have three daughters. Outside of work, I love spending time with family, enjoying Lindt chocolate, and having meaningful conversations!

Tiaan Smit

Hi, I’m Tiaan! I’ve been the Sound Engineer at Shofar Stellenbosch for the past two years. When I’m not behind the sound desk, you’ll find me at home, studying, reading, cooking, or writing music. I’m passionate about creating great sound and excited to keep growing with this amazing community!

Hi, I’m Mikkela, or Miks for short! As a district leader and part of the creative crew at Shofar Stellenbosch, I’m passionate about community and love seeing teams thrive together for Christ. I enjoy spontaneous fun and get a lot of joy from playing ball sports!

Abigail Janse van Rensburg

Hi, I’m Abby! I’m involved in both Student Ministry and Kid's Church at Shofar Stellenbosch. I’ve been part of this community for 24 years, and it’s been amazing! I love everything creative—painting, crafting, and more—and Honeycomb ice cream is my favorite treat. I also enjoy going on missions!
